LOGISTICS AND SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT: «BASE LEVEL»

The course is aimed at professionals and department heads in the areas of logistics, marketing, procurement, sales and other interested persons.

The purpose of the training course is to ensure that the student is ready to implement the competencies that allow them to successfully solve professional problems in the market of goods and services, including the formation of a system of professional knowledge, skills in understanding the laws and principles that govern the supply chain of a commercial enterprise.

The objectives of the training course are to prepare students for the use of quantitative and qualitative methods for managing business processes in supply chains and evaluating their effectiveness, i.e. processes satisfying the internal and external needs of the enterprise, as well as preparing students to accompany business processes in various areas of management, using modern tools to diagnose activities and develop a strategy for managing the enterprise’s supply chain.

Programme of the course includes the following topics:

  • essence and concept of logistics and supply chain management;
  • integration of business processes of supply chains;
  • network structure of supply chains;
  • fundamentals of planning and designing supply chains;
  • supply chain integration.

After completing the course, graduates will know: main tasks of logistics and the place of supply chain management in the modern economy and in the logistics system of the enterprise, as well as the basics of planning and designing supply chains; basics of planning and designing supply chains; be able to design the network structure of supply chains taking into account the peculiarities of its configuration, manage the integrated interaction of contractors in the supply chains; have the skills to analyze the structure of the enterprise’s supply chains, to select and justify a strategy for managing the enterprise’s supply chains, as well as to develop measures to ensure the implementation of increasing the efficiency of enterprise supply chain management.

Final control: testing

At the end of the course, a State-standard certificate is issued.
