The Uzbek-Georgian Business Networking Event held in the Field of Innovative Entrepreneurship

On February 21, 2024, a B2B meeting between Uzbek and Georgian businessmen was organized at the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship. The meeting aimed to further support information and communication technologies and innovative sectors in the development of innovative entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan.

Approximately 30 representatives from 14 Georgian companies working in ICT, programming, business process automation, e-commerce, auditing, and business consulting attended the event.

Additionally, the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship of Uzbekistan, the IT Park, the Uzbekistan FinTech Association, and over 40 local business entities in ICT participated in this business meeting.

The discussions focused on mutual cooperation in innovative entrepreneurship development, implementation of joint projects, launching innovative projects abroad, and developing an innovative business ecosystem, including the banking and financial sector. The importance of digitalization and rapid implementation of innovative solutions was also emphasized.

At the opening ceremony, the Uzbek entrepreneurs were presented with brief overviews of the business activities of the Georgian business delegation members. This was followed by a dynamic B2B dialogue between the business communities of Uzbekistan and Georgia, where proposals for cooperation in software application, financial technologies, and the incorporation of ICT in industry were discussed.

The meeting concluded with the entrepreneurs from both countries agreeing to collaborate in the fields of information technology, programming, financial technology, artificial intelligence, mechanical engineering, and the creation of electronic databases, all identified as future priorities of the innovative economy.
