Prospective business development plans were discussed with the Asian Development Bank

On March 4th of this year, a meeting with representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) took place at the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship, led by Chief Counsel Ms. Christina Pak.

The Graduate School is actively involved in creating favorable conditions for entrepreneurship and the development of sustainable business in Uzbekistan. The meeting with ADB representatives marked an important step, opening new prospects for joint work in the field of business development and innovation.

The main topics of discussion were: increasing potential for entrepreneurs, aimed at developing business skills and expanding opportunities for entrepreneurs. Also, ways to improve support and training as part of this program were discussed.

In addition, significant attention was paid to the possibility of ADB considering the ESG reporting system developed by the Graduate School, which will be adapted to the unique needs of both private and public companies in Uzbekistan.

Furthermore, participants discussed the necessity and development of training programs designed to increase companies' awareness of the significance of ESG reporting and to provide guidance on the effective implementation of these practices.

Plans were presented for conducting training sessions, webinars, and master classes with the goal of enhancing the knowledge and skills of SMEs and individuals focused on promoting the green economy in the region.

The participants discussed a plan to provide methodological assistance in developing sustainable development reports. During the discussion, measures aimed at increasing business transparency and efficiency, thereby promoting its sustainable development overall, were considered.

A decision was made to launch short-term educational programs for entrepreneurs. These courses will be focused on developing key skills and knowledge necessary for successful business operations in accordance with modern international standards and sustainable development goals.

The parties discussed a plan for further steps in cooperation, including organizing additional events aimed at developing sustainable business and entrepreneurship in the region.
