THE NEXT TRAINING WORKSHOP FROM REPRESENTATIVES OF THE GRADUATE SCHOOL

March 3, 2020, representatives of the Republican Graduate School of Business and Management (hereinafter – Graduate School) held a seminar-training for teaching staff and students of the Tashkent architecture and construction Institute (hereinafter TASI) on the topic "Methodology of teaching of project management in the field of education".

The main objective of the seminar is to provide TASI students and teachers with the necessary knowledge and competencies in project management using modern and flexible methods in this field.

In addition to the theoretical materials dealing with the composition and structure of processes, process groups, fields of knowledge, as well as the general methodology of project management, the training contained a large number of practical examples based on experience in real project management.

In the first part of the event with his presentation on "Methodology of project management in the field of education", made by head of the Department of project management and strategizing Bahrom Holbaev, who spoke about the benefits and opportunities of project management to achieve strategic objectives and outlined the importance of project management in the field of education.

Also reviewed case studies on the implementation of project management in business entities of the country and dismantled an organizational chart of project management presented in the regulatory state documents.

In turn, a presentation was made by a member of the Department of project management and strategizing of Graduate School, professor of Iowa state University (USA) – T. Coffelt.

She presented the curricula of the Faculty of Architecture of Iowa State University, namely, the specifics and methodology of teaching, the curricula, the methodology of teaching architecture and the training of highly qualified specialists in modern architecture.

She emphasized that studying to be an architect would require not only an excellent knowledge of mathematics, spatial thinking and a love of art, but also a readiness for long theoretical and practical learning, and certainly a creative beginning.

At the end of the seminar-training participants expressed their gratitude and appreciation for such a rich and informative report.
