Guest lecture was held with the participation of a leading expert in the field of international business

On March 12, 2024 at the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship guest lecture was held with the participation of the leading expert in the field of international business Romero de Marcelo Adolfo from Spain on the topic “Opportunities for Uzbekistan SMEs in Internalization and Access to the EU market” for professors, teachers and students of the Graduate of Business School took part.

Romero de Marcelo Adolfo is a recognized expert in international business and in the internationalization of small and medium-sized companies through the expansion of their export activities in foreign markets.

In his presentation, the Spanish expert described the opportunities of international business based on the experience of European companies in foreign markets. Furthermore, he explained the mechanisms of successful entry of small and medium enterprises from Uzbekistan into the EU market.

Considering the importance of further support for the development of export activities of Uzbek companies, the presentation focused on the main features, opportunities, and strategies for the expansion of exports of goods by Uzbek SMEs in the international arena.

Special attention has been given to the ways and mechanisms of entering the EU market, identifying of existing problems and determining promising areas in international business for entrepreneurs in the circumstances of globalization.

During the event expert also talked about international export markets, current global trends in exporting and promising directions for Uzbek companies.

Analysis of best practices and experience of international companies in expanding international activities in foreign markets with the possibility of successful application of various strategies by Uzbek companies to enter the EU market.

In addition, in the event participants discussed opportunities for export of Uzbek products to the EU market, analysis of consumer behavior, requirements and standards of the European Union.

The guest lecture was followed by a productive Q&A session. Participants of the guest lecture had an active interaction with the expert and discussed current export opportunities for Uzbek companies in the EU.
