THE NEXT COURSE OF PEARSON FOR TEACHERS HAS BEEN COMPLETED

 

From 19 to 20 February 2020, another intensive two-day course was held at the Republican Graduate School of Business and Management (hereinafter Graduate School), organized in cooperation with the company Pearson Group.

«Teachers Training Programme» is a special intensive course developed by Pearson Group for college teachers of Uzbekistan aimed at teaching the basics of teaching methodology in secondary-specialized educational institutions.

The participants of the course are teachers from four colleges of the capital and the Djizak Regional College of Economics and Service.

The course was conducted by certified and experienced Pearson Group specialists Paul Hedford and Sally Peacock, who demonstrated interactive sessions on learning processes and methodologies, student assessment.

On the first day of the classes, Paul Hedford demonstrated the work of the Edexcel system, which allows to register students in a timely manner and track their learning process. This system also monitors the development of modules by students and all data on the course of training, which is displayed online.

On the second day, Sally Peacock held a session on the quality of education as part of the educational programs developed by Pearson.

Pearson Group representatives also visited professional colleges that participate in the project to learn more about the educational process.

In addition, within the framework of the event, Mr. Marc Koutsman and the director of the Graduate School, professor Rustam Abduraupov, held a working meeting with a delegation from Pearson Group, at which they discussed the further development of the project.
