From July 3 to July 5, 2019, on the territory of the Republican Graduate School of Business and Management, a training was organized jointly with the Pearson Group, on the theme “Teachers training program”.

The “Teachers Training Program” is an intensive three-day course developed by the Pearson Group especially for teachers in Uzbekistan’s colleges and aimed at teaching the basics of teaching methodology in secondary special educational institutions. The training was conducted by a certified team of specialists from the Pearson Group - Sally Peacock, Ashok Kumar, Emma Clark, and Dick Cultus.

The training was attended by teachers from different regions of the country, whose main activity is tourism, hotel business, economics, and management.

During the training workshops were held in the following areas:

• Pearson's approach to professional teaching and learning;
• Planning the teaching process;
• Student support in the learning process;
• Improving the efficiency of teaching by conducting training on the methodology;
• Evaluation of the effectiveness of teaching and student assessment;
• Understanding of the principles, methods, and types of student assessment;

Use of various evaluation methods to ensure the validity and objectivity of evaluation decisions.

On the final day of the training, there was a solemn ceremony of awarding certificates to the participants, where everyone noted the benefits of such meetings and thanked the organizers for the valuable experience and knowledge gained during the training.

It is also worth noting that from July 8 to July 10, similar training will be held in Jizzakh, for teachers of the Jizzakh Regional College of Economics and Zaamin Transport College.
