The stock market is undergoing large-scale reforms taking into account modern requirements. In the conditions of market economy business entities and entrepreneurship, as well as all persons interested in economic processes, connect their economic interests with the securities market.

On October 6 of this year at the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan a regular workshop on "Prospects of development of securities market in Uzbekistan" was organized for students and staff of the Graduate School. 

During the workshop, the head of the joint stock sompany "Central Securities Depository", an associate professor Tashov Faizulla Muratovich and the head of the MBA department of the Graduate School, prof. Suyunov Dilmurod Kholmuradovich, made a report on the development of securities in our country. 

It should be noted that the aforementioned sphere is not only new for Uzbekistan, but also for all CIS countries. Securities market can be a great source of income, so in our country we pay big attention to its development. 

The purpose of organizing this workshop was to familiarize our students with the state of the securities market, prospects of its development, mechanisms of participation in the market, knowledge and skills of placement, storage, accounting and analysis of shares in the depository. 

At the end of the event, a Q&A session between the audience and experts took place, and participants were informed about the conditions created for market participants and the legal and regulatory framework of the securities market.
