The Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship hosted a meeting with a delegation of representatives of higher education institutions from Hungary and Germany

On October 19, 2023, the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship held a meeting with Zoltan Gala, Director of the Hungarian Startup Campus, Jana Legtenborg, Head of Business Development at the Technical University of Munich in Germany, and Zsolt István, Head of Innovation Management at the University of Miskolc in Hungary.

During the dialog, the participants discussed issues of mutual cooperation in the field of higher education, innovative entrepreneurship, advanced technologies aimed at green economy, development of startup projects.

In particular, the sides were informed that “Startup Campus” center for universities and corporations of Uzbekistan and Hungary on innovative cooperation launched training programs of startup accelerator, within the framework of which the activities on support of projects of startup initiators are carried out, as well as that this project is implemented jointly with relevant ministries and agencies of Uzbekistan.

It was noted at the meeting that Munich Technical University in cooperation with the higher education institution assists in developing the sphere of higher education, improving knowledge and qualification of teaching staff in the field of education and establishing international cooperation for educational institutions of Uzbekistan.

At the same time, it was announced that Hungarian University of Miskolc is working on supporting scientific developments in technical fields of higher education (metallurgy, irrigation, agriculture and robotics) and introducing innovative developments in this regard, establishing cooperative relations with industrial sectors.

During the conversation, information was provided on the activities of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship, its main directions, as well as its work in creating a green economy, developing the startup ecosystem, and supporting innovative entrepreneurship.

At the closing of the meeting, the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship agreed on joint cooperation with higher education institutions of Hungary and Germany in the development of cooperation, support of green economy, startups and realization of interesting projects in the field of innovative entrepreneurship in our state.
