“The role of scientists and experts in reforming legislation - We will fight corruption uncompromisingly”

On November 24 of the current year, the Council of Young Scientists of Tashkent State University of Law and the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a regular scientific discussion.

Uzbekistan is implementing large-scale reforms to prevent and combat corruption, eliminate corruption factors in all spheres of state and public life and activity.

In particular, in order to strengthen the role of the general public and scientific community in ensuring the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated 06.07.2021 № DP-6257 “On measures to create an environment of intolerant attitude to corruption, cardinal reduction of corruption factors in state and public administration, as well as the wide involvement of the public in this process” and the Resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated 06.07.2021 № RP-5177 “On additional measures for the effective organization of anti-corruption activities” was issued. 

During the scientific discussion, proposals and scientific conclusions on the implementation of tasks set by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 28, 2022 № DP-60 “On the strategy of development of new Uzbekistan for 2022 – 2026” were considered.

In addition, Professor of TSUL, Doctor of Law Salomat Niyazova conducted a workshop for young scientists and listeners of the Graduate School on the causes of corruption and measures to drastically reduce it in the management of society.
