The Open Doors Day dedicated to the Day of Adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and International Anti-Corruption Day was held at the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship

On December 7 of this year, the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan held an event called “Open Doors Day” dedicated to December 8 - Constitution Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and December 9 - International Anti-Corruption Day.

The event began with a welcoming speech by the First Deputy Director of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship, Shakhrukh Sharakhmetov. Guests of honor included Bobokul Tashev, Chairman of the Chamber for the Protection of Copyright of Artists, Creators, and Performers, Doctor of Law, Professor, and Firyuza Mukhitdinova, Professor of State and Law Theory at Tashkent State Law University, Doctor of Law. They delivered lectures during the event.

The Constitution is the supreme law of the state, determining the structure of the country, the system of government and administration, their powers, the electoral system, the rights and freedoms of citizens, and the judicial system. The Constitution serves as the basis for all laws. Following a national referendum held on April 30, 2023, a new version of the Constitution was adopted.

In the report on the 31st anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, it was emphasized that the Constitution, as an expression of the political and legal thinking of the people, serves as the basis for establishing a democratic state and a strong civil society. It ensures the freedom and prosperity of the population and enhances the country's authority in the international community. It provides a solid basis for reforms in various spheres.

On the occasion of “World Anti-Corruption Day”, the lecture “Fighting Corruption is the Duty of Each of Us!” emphasized the need to unite in an uncompromising fight against corruption to ensure global development. The event also covered the consideration of reforms aimed at ensuring openness and transparency in various sectors, eliminating corruption risks. Corruption was seen as the most dangerous crime undermining the socio-economic development of society.

Also discussed was the need to create an atmosphere of an uncompromising fight against corruption in the framework of ongoing reforms aimed at further improving the welfare of the people, based on respect for human dignity, the unrestricted provision of human rights and interests, as well as the formation of an active civil society.
