Presentation of methodological manuals on organization of hackathons, business incubators and startup gas pedals for startup supporting organizations in Uzbekistan

On November 8, 2023, representatives from the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship participated in the presentation of “Methodological manuals on the organization of hackathons, business incubators, and startup accelerators”.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan in collaboration with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) as part of the project "Empowering youth for the development of digital economy and digital entrepreneurship" at the National Office of Innovation Implementation and Technology Transfer under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation.

The attendees included representatives from ministries, agencies, business associations, higher education institutions, and entrepreneurs interested in startup development.

During the event, Evgeny Anikin, founder of Phystech Genesis (Russia), Irakli Kashibadze, director of Future Laboratory (Georgia), and Alexander Loktionov, founder of Loga Group (Russia), delivered a presentation on the organization of hackathons and the management of business incubators.

The developed methodological recommendations aim to provide additional opportunities for the advancement and support of startup initiatives and the implementation of promising business projects involving higher education institutions and businesses.

This will contribute to strengthening the country's startup ecosystem. It will also foster innovation and entrepreneurship, leading to economic growth and development.
