The Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank, will host a two-day training session titled “Options for Resolving Business Disputes-Focus on Alternative Dispute resolution” on November 12-13, 2024, in Tashkent.

The objective of the training is to a enhance practical knowledge and skills of private sector representatives in resolving commercial, investment, and other disputes through the use of mediation and arbitration methods. It aims to engage the business community in exploring non-conflict resolution processes for disputes and conflicts, as well as to familiarize participants with both international and national practices in mediation and arbitration.

Training Topics Include:

- Alternative Dispute Resolution;

- Key Skills and Techniques in Mediation;

- Developing Dispute Resolution Strategies;

- International Principles of Dispute Resolution;

- Preparing for Mediation and Arbitration;

- Fundamentals of Arbitration Proceedings;

- Effective Negotiations in Conflict Resolution.

The training will be conducted in Uzbek and English, with simultaneous translation.
