Meeting with representatives of the Center for Entrepreneurship Education and Research of Yamagata University

On November 14 of the current year in the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship, under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a meeting with representatives of the Center for Entrepreneurship Education and Research of Yamagata University (Japan) was held.

The meeting was attended by the following participants: Deputy Director on financial and economic issues - Mirkomil Adilov, Head of MBA department - Dilmurod Suyunov, Head of the center for work with business incubator and startup projects - Gofurjon Usmanov, Head of department of the project office “Promotion and implementation of green economy” - Rustam Gulyamov, Head of International Relations Department - Aziza Mukhamadieva, as well as Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship Education and Research - Tadashi Onodera, Deputy Director - Tatsuhito Sugaoi and the Center’s representative in Uzbekistan - Dilafruz Ikramova.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of business incubators and startup projects, the possibility of organizing courses on entrepreneurship development for the staff and faculty of the Graduate School, as well as for the khokims assistants to organize support and training in the creation and development of new businesses.

It was discussed to attract professors and experts from Japan to develop educational programs and organize training courses based on the joint program. The Japanese side also showed interest in the training courses and educational process of the Graduate School.

The meeting resulted in an agreement on the implementation of joint programs, promotion of business and startup projects, as well as discussion of the direction of further cooperation based on the final negotiations.
