A short-term training course on the topic of "Teaching entrepreneurship skills to the population (youth and women)" was held

 

From August 26 to 30 of this year, a short-term training course on the topic of "Teaching entrepreneurship skills to the population (youth and women)" was organized at the GraduateSchool of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This course was attended by 50 trainees from the Association of Disabled Persons of Uzbekistan.

 

Raising the living standards of the population, growth of real incomes through the development of small business and private entrepreneurship is one of the priority tasks for today. Therefore, favorable conditions for the development of entrepreneurship are being created in the republic, and this work is already yielding positive results.

For reference: in connection with the adoption of additional measures to improve the system of training the population in entrepreneurship, as well as professional skills and entrepreneurship of women, on the basis of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 388 of June 22, 2021 "On measures for the effective implementation of vocational training programs for young people and women, as well as the provision of microloans for their entrepreneurial activities", amendments and additions were made, which became the basis for organizing short-term training courses.

 

This event was attended by 25 listeners from the Association of Disabled People of Uzbekistan. The development of small business and private entrepreneurship to improve the living standards of the population and increase real incomes is one of the priority tasks of today. Therefore, favorable conditions for the development of entrepreneurship are being created in our country, and this work brings positive results.

 

The main goal of the course was also to develop entrepreneurial competencies in young people and women interested in entrepreneurship by teaching business theory and practice.

 

During the course, students improved their skills in the following topics:

• Competencies in creating a new enterprise and its state registration;

• Competencies in organizing and running your own entrepreneurial business;

• Competencies in developing a business plan and managing a small business;

• Competencies in recruiting and managing personnel;

• Competencies in running a business using tax incentives.

 

Upon completion of the course, students gained knowledge and skills related to all legal and regulatory documents essential for conducting business activities.
