A Workshop on the of “Legal status of joint-stock companies in accordance with the legislation”

On December 14 of the current year, Farhod Mirahmedov, Head of the Law Office AB “Supra Legem”, organized a workshop on the “Legal Status of Joint Stock Companies in Accordance with the Legislation” for attendees at the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship.

During the workshop, various topics were discussed, including the procedure for establishing joint stock companies as per the legislation, the rights and obligations of shareholders, the organizational and management structure of these companies, the settlement and audit process, the roles and responsibilities of management bodies, financial reporting, operational procedures, and other relevant issues.

The presentation covered several aspects of the legal status of joint stock companies under the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

The ability to buy and sell regulated shares to legal entities;
 The sustainability of business activities and adherence to established financial adequacy standards;
The development and implementation of the company's growth strategy during its creation and management.

The importance of the legal status of joint stock companies and the state-established procedures for controlling, limiting, and supervising their activities was emphasized. This status plays a crucial role in national progress, and laws are continuously updated and adapted to facilitate reform activities over time.

Throughout the workshop, participants had the opportunity to have their questions on the topic addressed.
