A workshop on “Improving the use of digital technologies in public administration” was held

Today, the development of digital technologies and elements of e-government, as well as support for the digital economy occupy a large place in our country's development plan for the near future. Digital technologies and electronic document management methods are gradually being introduced into public administration and public services.

Digital technologies help businesses and individuals cut costs by reducing personal communication with government organizations, and allow citizens to solve their problems faster and easier.

On October 16 this year for the students and staff of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship, was held a regular workshop with the participation of senior specialist in information and communication technologies, candidate of economic sciences, associate professor Karakhanov Abdugani Mamatovich, as well as the heads of the “MBA” and “Digital Economy” departments Professor Suyunov Dilmurod Kholmuradovich and Professor Kenzhabaev Aman Turgunovich. 

The event focused on the prospects of management and development of digital economy in Uzbekistan, existing problems and risks, ways to address them, as well as the experience of advanced countries in this field.

There was also a discussion on the methods of using digital technologies in public administration, their shortcomings and significance at present, which certainly make a great contribution to the development of public services.

At the end of the event there was a question and answer session between the audience and experts, the participants gained knowledge and skills in this area.
