On 2 November this year, the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted another work shop for students and staff of the Graduate School on "Prospects of Development of Stock Exchanges in the Digital Economy".

At the event, a report on the prospects of development of stock exchanges in the current era of digital economy was made by the head of the Joint Stock Company “Central Securities Depository”, an associate professor Tashov Faizulla Muratovich and the head of the MBA department of the Graduate School, professor Suyunov Dilmurod Kholmuradovich.   

The stock exchange fulfils important tasks in the economy of any state and plays a huge role for the economy of the whole world, that is why measures are taken in our country to ensure the effective activity of stock exchanges.

Large-scale reforms are being carried out in our Republic to create a securities market that meets modern requirements. In the conditions of market economy, business and entrepreneurial subjects, as well as all persons in harmony with the economic process, can freely link their economic interests with the securities market.

The purpose of organising such a work shop was to increase the knowledge and skills of the listeners by sharing information as the prospects of development of the stock exchange, its status and impact on the economy.

At the end of the event, the participants asked the experts interesting questions and received detailed answers.
