A meeting with the business delegation of Georgia was held

The Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship hosted a meeting with representatives of the Georgian business delegation on December 7, 2023. The meeting featured Rati Anjaparidze, United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Business Program Manager in Georgia, and Olga Nakashidze, Director General, Services Department, JSC Bank of Georgia and Georgian companies in the field of project finance, information technologies, innovative business services and business start-ups.

In addition, the meeting was attended by heads of departments and professors of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship and 10 representatives of local businesses.

During the meeting, a Georgian business delegation was briefed on the activities of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship and the ongoing work in the areas of innovative entrepreneurship, support for startup initiatives and building a green economy.

The meeting also discussed specific directions for potential partnerships between the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship and Georgian companies in the areas of business education, green technologies, innovative entrepreneurship, and supporting start-up initiatives.

During the discussions, the possibilities of cooperation between the Georgian delegation and Uzbek companies in the field of business services were also explored.

The Georgian business delegation has expressed their willingness to collaborate in several key areas:

-Conducting presentations on current business issues for the Graduate School students with the involvement of leaders from prominent Georgian companies as guest speakers;

-Organization of joint workshops, events and conferences for the development of innovative business, the exchange of knowledge on the implementation of green technologies and the adaptation of the Georgian know-how to the local practices;

-Further development of short-term courses on project and corporate management at the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship based on the experience of Georgia;

-Launching startup events and educational programs for the growth of the startup ecosystem in Uzbekistan;

- Promotion of business start-ups from Uzbekistan in Georgia and other countries, as well as attracting Georgian investors to promising projects.

At the end of the event, a B2B meeting was held between the business communities of Uzbekistan and Georgia to identify areas of mutual interest for cooperation.
