The Securities Market in Uzbekistan and its Development Paths

One of the main tasks of the Graduate School of  Business and Entrepreneurship is to conduct seminars and master classes aimed at enhancing modern economic knowledge among students from the system of state and economic management. These events are designed to identify and solve pressing issues contributing to the growth and increased efficiency of managing the modern economy.

As part of this task, on April 25th of this year, a master class for graduate students, faculty, and staff of the school was held by Dr. Dilmurod Suyunov, a professor of economic sciences. The event occurred at the Joint Stock Company “Central Securities Depository” on the topic of “The Securities Market in Uzbekistan and its Development Paths”.

During the master class, participants gained theoretical knowledge and practical skills on various topics such as the prospects for the development of the capital market in our country, trends in the securities market, mechanisms for participation in the market, the placement and accounting of shares in the depository, procedures for issuing international codes, performing calculations on securities, the status of participants in this market sector, processes for conducting real-time stock trading transactions, and other relevant issues.

The master class was conducted in an interactive format, and participants were able not only to get answers to their questions from the lecturer but also to independently carry out transactions for buying and selling shares of real companies through an electronic platform. It was concluded that the objective set for the master class had been achieved.
