Special lecture from Ban Ki-moon on the topic: "Korea's status and contribution in the global world"

On June 1 2021, Handong Global University (South Korea) held a special lecture on sustainable development UNITWIN UNESCO Global Citizenship Education through the ZOOM platform on the topic: "Korea's status and contribution in the global world."

This lecture was attended by employees and students of the Master's program of the Graduate School.

The main guest speaker during the lecture was H.E. Ban, Ki-moon, former Secretary-General of the UN, who spoke about the growing importance of joint cooperation in the face of global challenges.

Also, the lecture touched upon the topics of global challenges, in particular, concerning the situation in South Korea and its response to COVID-19, climate change and initiatives in the field of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The interactive format of the event allowed its participants to get answers to their questions and learn a lot of new and interesting information.
