Foreign experts shared the global business strategy of Samsung Electronics at the Graduate School

On November 8, 2024, the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship hosted another “Business Masterclass” for students and faculty, featuring guest speaker Professor Kim Yong-su, former Executive Vice President (2011-2013) and Vice President (2001-2011) of Samsung Electronics. His presentation was titled “The Path to Global Leadership Through Innovation: Strategic Insights and Achievements of Samsung Electronics.”

During the event, the speaker discussed the establishment and growth of Samsung Electronics, a leading company in South Korea, particularly in the mobile phone manufacturing sector. He shared key moments that transformed the company into a global producer of mobile devices.

Professor Kim emphasized how innovation has been the driving force behind Samsung Electronics’ success, enabling the company to secure leading positions in the global market. He also highlighted the intense global competition in mobile phone production and outlined Samsung’s business strategy aimed at achieving leadership in this highly competitive sector of the world economy.

At the conclusion of the masterclass, participants actively engaged in a question-and-answer session, discussing the future of innovative business in Uzbekistan.
