On October 17, a delegation from Uzbekistan, led by First Deputy Director of the Graduate School of Business, Sh.Sharakhmetov, visited the Financial Research Institute of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation (FRI).

During the visit, the delegation met with FRI Director V. Nazarov and the institute's researchers.
The parties discussed promising areas of bilateral cooperation, including joint scientific research on topical issues of fiscal policy, tax administration, and entrepreneurship development.

V. Nazarov informed the delegation about the opening of the scientific council at FRI and, in this regard, noted the potential for strengthening cooperation in training scientific personnel through the organization of dual scientific supervision for doctoral students and aspirants.

During the discussion, the experts also expressed the opinion that it is necessary to develop a comprehensive action plan for further interaction between the Graduate School of Business and FRI.

The parties also addressed organizational issues related to the forthcoming visit of the FRI delegation to Uzbekistan, scheduled for November this year.

As a result of the meeting, it was agreed to hold regular bilateral consultations on the exchange of experience and best practices in the fields of tax administration, support for small and medium-sized enterprises, financial literacy, and other issues.
