On April 8, 2021 the course "International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS): DipIFR qualification" was launched by the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship.

The course is aimed at preparing specialists planning to register for ACCA DipIFR exam. It is best suited for accountants, auditors and financial managers who want to enhance their skills in today's competitive labor market.

Classes are taught by Oksana Ognevchuk, an international DipIFR diploma holder and a certified business coach with 20 years of teaching and professional experience in the field of preparing financial statements in accordance with national and international accounting standards, transforming financial statements of organizations in accordance with IFRS and managing financial and accounting teams of companies.

During the training, participants will learn to develop professional judgment and apply IFRS and cost optimization in practice, learn about the principles of financial accounting and the role of development and maintenance of accounting systems, and know how to deal with the principal problems that companies face in practice during transition process to the IFRS.

The duration of the course is 2 months, and to the successful participants will be issued a certificate.

It should be recalled that in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-4611 dated February 24 2020 "On additional measures for the transition to international financial reporting standards", starting from January 1 2021 major companies must organize maintenance and preparation of accounting records based on IFRS, and also hire specialists who can prove their knowledge of IFRS.
