PRESENTATION OF CONTROLLING AND MONITORING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF INVESTMENT PROJECTS

On March 3 and 4, 2020, in the building of the Republican Graduate School of Business and Management, for master students, representatives of the National Agency of Project Management under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan presented the Unified National Project Management Information System - UNPMIS.

It will enable:

  • to automate the processes of accounting, control and monitoring of project implementation;
  • to monitor project deadlines, budgets, goals, and indicators;
  • to generate reliable data on the volume of attracted investments, including foreign direct investment;
  • to identify risks for the timely commissioning of capacities in project implementation;
  • to track the achievement of targets specified in the project documentation in the post-investment period.

The system was developed taking into account future requirements and trends in investment programs. The functionalities of the system are executed in the most flexible format, which allows users and administrators to configure the structural chains of project executors according to the given tasks. Almost unlimited possibilities are the settings of input and output data, forms, tables, and infographics that reflect the progress of the projects.

At this time, the system works in test mode, we are working on connecting to the system of ministries, agencies and business associations involved in the process of initiation, control and monitoring of the projects.

The implementation of the system will establish an effective monitoring in real time, will implement the projects in a timely manner, the transparency of development investments, including foreign direct investment, forecasting and risk prevention during the implementation of projects, achieving targets, and therefore the successful implementation of projects.

Also, this will bring the project management Institute in the Republic of Uzbekistan to a new level and to reduce associated costs and bureaucracy.
