PRESENTATION ON “LIFE SITUATIONS” OF MY.GOV.UZ PORTAL WAS HELD IN GRADUATE SCHOOL

A Presentation on “Life situations” of the Single portal for interactive public services was conducted on February 13, 2020 at Republican Graduate School of Business and Management (hereinafter referred to as Graduate School)

The press-briefing was organized by Graduate School, State Unitary Enterprise e-Government and Digital Economy Project Management Center under National Agency of Project Management under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and United Nations Development Programme in Uzbekistan (hereinafter referred to as UNDP) supported by the Embassy of Great Britain in Uzbekistan.

At the press conference a new section of the my.gov.uz portal called “Life situations” was presented. It contains the information on acquiring most sought-after public services grouped in thematical blocs – life situations.

It was mentioned, that currently the section contains 7 life situations such as birth of a child, employment relationships, establishment of a family and dissolution of the marriage, registration and receipt of the pension, registration at a place of stay, education, social security of people with disabilities.

During the press briefing the coordinator from UNDP – Bunyod Khashimkhodjaev told of simplifying public service provision according to “life situations” principle. It was noted that this section with most common life situations for the population of Uzbekistan was developed with the international experience in mind, as well as according to the results of the analysis of service popularity rating ranked by the users of the portal. Having this section will solve the problem of the applicant in a complex manner, as it will not be divided into different parts, directing the person to different ministries and agencies.

Besides that, the survey reports of the specialists on the development of “Life situations” section were also introduced.

The “Life situations” section was developed as part of joint project of National Agency of Project Management under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and UNDP with financial support of the Embassy of Great Britain in Uzbekistan.

After the presentation the hosts answered the questions of the event participants.
