Meeting with Handong Global University: Prospects for Expanding Academic Cooperation
On October 3, 2024, representatives of the Graduate School met with professors J. Ahn and K. Kim from Handong Global University, initiated by the Korean side. The main goal of the discussion was to expand academic ties between the universities, particularly through faculty and student exchange programs.
Professor J. Ahn emphasized the successful 10-year collaboration between the institutions, highlighting the importance of strengthening bilateral relations. He expressed a readiness to continue developing cooperation through joint programs and activities.
Special attention was given to the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into educational programs, which he believes will play a key role in modernizing the academic process.
The Uzbek side confirmed its willingness to actively expand cooperation. In particular, the creation of short-term educational courses for representatives of Uzbekistan's business and banking sectors in South Korea was considered.
The Korean side also expressed interest in the use of textbooks provided by Handong University by students of the Graduate School in order to analyze the current use of textbooks by students and teachers, as well as further update the information resource. In this regard, up-to-date information on textbooks will be sent to the partner university.
