"IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF THE LOAN PORTFOLIO OF COMMERCIAL BANKS"

The training course is intended for employees of credit departments of commercial banks and managers of credit departments of bank branches.

The aim of the training course is to enrich the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of employees of commercial banks to improve the quality of the loan portfolio.

Course objectives:

- revealing the essence of the directions of reforming the banking system of the republic;

- training in the formation and management of a loan portfolio of commercial banks;

- getting acquainted with the indicators characterizing the quality of the loan portfolio of commercial banks;

- assessment of profitability and risk level of loans from commercial banks;

- studying the procedure for the classification of loans from commercial banks and the formation of reserves for possible losses;

- getting to know the causes of problem loans and their management;

- analysis of methods for assessing the creditworthiness of clients of commercial banks;

- assessment of opportunities for diversification of the loan portfolio of commercial banks.

- studying the mechanism of formation of interest rates on loans from commercial banks and assess the degree of influence of factors affecting interest rates.

The curriculum includes the following topics:

- Priorities of reforming the banking system of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

- Methods for the formation and management of the loan portfolio of commercial banks;

- Indicators characterizing the quality of the loan portfolio of commercial banks;

- Profitability of loans from commercial banks;

- Loan portfolio risk;

- The procedure for the classification of commercial bank loans and provisions for possible losses;

- Causes of problem loans and how to manage them;

- Methods for assessing the creditworthiness of clients;

- Assessment and management of credit risk;

- Interest rates on loans from commercial banks and factors influencing them.

The form of study is daytime, without daytime working hours.

Study load: 40 classroom hours

Duration: 5 days, from 09:00 to 16:00

Intermediate control: conversation

Final control: test

Upon completion of the course, a state certificate is issued.
